This week, during February school vacation week, the Four Seasons Boston is celebrating National Pancake Week with a special breakfast at the Bristol Lounge. Children can “make your own” Mickey and Minnie Mouse pancakes, and mom and dad can enjoy the amazing “Ridiculously Red Velvet Pancakes” with cream cheese frosting (or something from the a la carte menu). It’s the perfect start to your day if you are spending time in Boston with your kids!
We had the chance to preview the delicious breakfast, and my kids had a blast decorating their pancakes. You can request the toppings that you want, or get a selection of toppings (like in my photo). Even though I don’t like pancakes, I just had to try the red velvet pancakes, and I promise you – they didn’t disappoint. They are fluffy and delicious, and have the perfect level of sweetness. I could eat these every day!
National pancake week is being celebrated all week, from February 20th-26th, 2012, at the Bristol Lounge at the Four Seasons Boston. “Make Your Own” Mickey and Minnie Mouse Pancakes are $9 and Ridiculously Red Velvet Pancakes are $16. The a la carte menu is also available. Reservations are recommended – make them online or call 617 351 2037.
