It’s just about Christmas vacation, where families everywhere, once realizing that their kids are home for days, are looking for things to do.  Here are 15 different things you can do with your kids during break!

  1. Edaville Christmas Festival of Lights (December 26th-30th and January 1st)
  2. See Mr. Punch’s Christmas Carol at the Puppet Showplace Theater
  3. Visit the Museum of Science’s Imax Theater, Planetarium, and exhibit halls
  4. Check out the Enchanted Village, Lite show, and MOM at Jordan’s Furniture in Avon
  5. Watch the Radio City Christmas Spectacular before it leaves for the season on the 28th
  6. See Disney on Ice: Treasure Trove at the TD Garden
  7. Cheer on BC basketball vs. Harvard
  8. Catch the Peter Pan 360 Show at City Hall Plaza
  9. Touch a Shark or a Ray at the New England Aquarium
  10. Bundle up and visit the Franklin Park or Stone Zoo
  11. Visit the Discovery Museums of Acton
  12. Sign your kids up for zoo camp
  13. Bounce at SkyZone Boston
  14. Let your kids explore at the Children’s Museum
  15. Hop in your car for a day trip to Mystic, CT

    hi Jody,

    Can you recommend any “active” activities for kids at or near The Shops at the Prudential Center this Weds, 12/28? Kids range in age from 3 to 16 and we will have a few hours to fill before late lunch @ Cheescake Factory. Then off to Aquarium for 5 PM.

      There’s bowling at Kings, right near the Pru. Otherwise, there’s not much in the immediate vicinity. Have fun!
