Half-Price Admission at the Franklin Park and Stone Zoos

WHAT: Burn off the turkey and get the family out of the house on Friday, November 25 at the Franklin Park or Stone Zoo. Now that everyone’s food coma has worn off, it’s time for the family to get some fresh fall air at a place everyone can enjoy—the zoo! For a day of fun that won’t burn a hole in your pocket, bring the whole gang to either Franklin Park or Stone Zoo the day after Thanksgiving and enjoy half price admission. It’s a great way to spend a memorable day with family and discover all of the incredible animals at each zoo.

This month-long annual celebration of Cape Cod’s rich maritime heritage and history has been designated one of American Bus Association’s Top 100 Events in North America. More than 75 events will be presented the 2012 Maritime Days, from lighthouse and walking tours, nautical art exhibits and lectures on maritime lore to boat-building exhibits and kayaking excursions. The event will be topped off June 9-10 with the 11th Annual Cape Cod Maritime Festival on the Hyannis waterfront.
