A Guide to Visiting Honey Pot Hill in Stow, Massachusetts

Honey Pot Hill is open for apple picking – it’s a great time to visit because the weather is going to be just fabulous this weekend.  We visited earlier this week, and the apples are in full bloom.

We started our apple picking adventure with a hayride to the apple orchards.  Expect to pay about $1 per person for the hayride – the kids just love spotting all of the hidden pumpkins along the way.

Once at the orchard, picking the apples is nice and easy, because there are so many available.  Prices for the apples are very reasonable, and comparable to other local orchards.

After picking apples, we took the hayride back to the main farm, where we snacked on apple cider and apple donuts (something you can’t miss out on!).  We also fed the goats (bring quarters) and checked out the other animals.  If you’d like, you can also pick pumpkins and visit the hedge maze(additional fee).

Honey Pot Hill does get crowded at this time of year, so be prepared for lines.  And try your hardest to make sure your kids use the rest rooms at home – the facilities here are limited.
