Frog Appreciation Day August 20 in the Boston Common

Franklin Park Zoo and Boston Common Frog Pond are hosting “Frog Appreciation Day” August 20 in the Common!

Activities include:

  • Interactive presentation with Zoo New England’s Education Department
  • Observing live frogs, a frog skeleton and toy samples of endangered frogs
  • Face painting
  • Arts & Crafts table with DIY beanbag frogs
  • Leap frog
  • Ribbit contest
  • Free children’s tickets to the Franklin Park Zoo will be passed out while supplies last
