The Children’s Museum of NH will welcome two members of the Berenstain Bear Family on Saturday, April 2 from 10 am – 2 pm as part of the highly successful Books Alive! children’s literacy program sponsored by Irving Oil.
Brother and Sister Bear will be visiting the museum to meet young families who enjoy the bears’ dozens of books authored by Stan and Jan Berenstain. Children’s Museum staff members will read Berenstain Bears stories aloud for visitors, followed by visits with Brother and Sister Bear to share hugs, handshakes or high fives.
Adding to the fun, there will be puppet shows by Lesley Smith and her Theatre of Life Puppets at 11 am and 1 pm in the museum’s Project Area. There will also be a number of bear-inspired creative literacy activities for families to enjoy together.
All Books Alive! activities are included in regular paid admission to the museum: $8 for adults & children, $7 for seniors, and free for children under age 1 and museum members. For more things to do in Boston with kids, check out our Boston event calendar, which is always updated!
