Very disappointing…..We were all very excited for it. There was NO rhyme or reason. Way too many long lines. Couldn’t not find any employees anywhere if had questions. Would so will not do it again. There were alot of disappointed people. I will not recommend this to anyone

Great event – clearly there were some kinks being worked out as I understand this was one of the first times (if not the first time) it was held in the area. My son entered a Cool Creation, and one of the most interesting aspects of the event was watching him compare designs with other kids while standing in line to register his entry.

I don’t recommend the Hynes Convention Center for future occasions, especially during this time of year (September). With the beautiful weather the city was packed, making traffic a big problem. Also the food service lines inside the center were very long and slow. Food was overpriced and very greasy. There was not enough seating for families looking to eat. Finally, the parking was $35, more than the admission we paid for the two of us.

I know it is too late now for Boston, but for folks thinking about going to this in other cities DON’T…This event is a Scam, a money grab of the worst kind!!! Never have I spent so much for so little in my life!

I can not even begin to tell you how disappointed I was in this. First and foremost, it was completely unorganized as if it was the first event that Hynes Convention Center ever held. After purchasing tickets online (in which you pay a processing fee…only to have to print them out yourselves?!) we still waited in line for over an hour. When purchasing a ticket for a child 3 and under, you think they would have the consideration to inform you that carriages are not allowed into the event. I ended up carrying a squirmy one year old while trying to keep tabs on two others in a ridiculously crowded room. Upon entering the event, there were a handful of figurines built out of legos which granted, they were very cool, but they could have been a free traveling mall exhibit. We basically paid $79 for our kids to play at lego tables in the midst of a trade show. Honda Odyssey’s gallore, family ski vacations, and a spelling bee (amoung others). Tell me how any of that has to do with lego’s? We were out of there in less than an hour. I am disgusted that the Lego company would actually do something like this and rip families off, especially during a recession. Lego makes enough money from the toys the overpriced toys they sell, this Legofest was just pure greed. You would think they would have more apppreciation for their customers and fan following. It has me thinking twice of ever purchasing another Lego product. In fact, every family who was ripped off at Legofest 2010 should boycott Lego products this Christmas, and spread the word.
