where are the roads you mention in your headline (back roads, not state or county roads)?

My grandfather used to refer to back roads as the “old road” versus the “new road”. I don’t know of any old roads to Mystic from Boston, unfortunately. We take 95S.

I’m using the term “road trip” to mean a destination you can drive to, rather than fly.
